Once we've removed the physical filter, we reprogram (remap) the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), removing any DPF-related codes from the vehicle's software. This stops the vehicle from noticing the missing filter and prevents future DPF regeneration and warning lights. Getting the ECU reprogrammed correctly is super important, or DPF issues might keep re-occurring. During this process, we can also tune the ECU for better performance and fuel efficiency.
